Improved filtering in the work page

August 24th, 2015 (Revision 1), download as PDF

Filters are a powerful feature in Sequence, enabling you to drill down into a long list of things to do and focus on your priorities. We’ve made some changes to improve the Tasks and Tags filter.

This release note describes what has changed in full, and as usual you can contact support or your technical account manager for further clarification.

Widgets to the rescue

The Work page in Sequence lets you filter for workflows in a number of ways; if you have lots of Tasks and Tags then the Filter sidebar would grow very long, leading to lots of scrolling (which gets old very quickly). To help improve this situation the Tasks and Tags filter groups can now be collapsed, like this:

Notice that there’s a disclosure widget next to the Tasks and Tags groups. Clicking the group name will expand it to show its contents; there’s an extra level under Tags for each Tag Group.

Your expansion choices are remembered by Sequence so if, for example, there’s Tag Group you never use simply leave it closed and it will never bother you again. Nifty.

We have more nice features for Sequence in the pipeline, so keep your peepers peeled
