Brands have no limits nowadays and that is why Bebanjo keeps including new features to match the trend!
- Do you want to include that great Christmas special along with the other 11 series in a “Doctor Who” brand?
- Maybe create a “Marvel” brand where you can go through all 23 (and still counting!) features related to this superhero universe?
Now it’s possible! Brands, originally intended for episodic content only in Mediagenix On-Demand, can now include features too.
This note describes this change in full, and, as usual, you can contact support or your Technical Account Manager for further clarification.
There are two ways for you to link a feature to a brand.
1. Add the brand from the relevant feature’s catalogue page
You can link each individual feature from their catalogue page, just edit the title and add the brand.
2. Add the brand from the brand itself
Here you can choose between two different options:
- You can either
Add/Existing Titles
where you will see a selection of features and series available on the catalogue not yet added to the brand. Or… - You could
Add/Create a New Feature
directly from the brand, no need to go anywhere else!
And because information is key, following the current behaviour for the series, you will be able to see that a feature is Part of
a brand on its core metadata.
In order to adapt to all these changes, we have updated the brand page too. That’s why you will see that the children of a brand are now referred to as titles. Users can still rely on the title-type (right hand column) to differentiate features and series within their brands.
We hope this makes your life a little easier to keep expanding the TV and Movies universes! Try it out and be sure to let your TAM know if you have any questions!
