We have enhanced the way series can be scheduled in Mediagenix On-Demand.
This note describes this change in full, and, as usual, you can contact support or your Technical Account Manager for further clarification.
Up until now, when scheduling a series, it was possible to include certain episodes and exclude others, but that was all you could do - all episodes had to share the same start and end date when working in bulk:
We thought it would be useful to be able to specify a frequency too, allowing finely tuned control of start and end dates when scheduling in bulk.
For example if you wanted to make all episodes in a series available starting on the 1st of April, with a new episode made available each Tuesday, it’s now possible.
There is a new dropdown, called Frequency, below the date fields, with a choice of Daily, Weekly or Monthly options.
Daily:
Weekly:
Monthly:
And, as you can see, we’ve even added helpful hints below, telling you on which dates the episodes will be scheduled before you create the schedule entries. Neat!
