Playlist filter for schedule entries

We have enhanced the filtering in the Schedule page to include Playlists.

This note describes this change in full, and, as usual, you can contact support or your Technical Account Manager for further clarification.

Playlists in Mediagenix On-Demand let you define which ads and promos should be shown with a schedule entry, as pre-rolls, mid-rolls and post-rolls. They are very useful when scheduling content for platforms that don’t support Dynamic Ad Insertion (DAI).

And now, to make it easier to work with them in the schedule page, we have added a new filter to the filters dropdown, called Playlist:

Using the Playlist filter means that we can filter the schedule entries to see those which are not using a playlist, those which are using a playlist, and if they are, then whether the playlist contains a particular Title, External ID or Asset Name. Imagine, for example, that you need to look for all the schedule entries going online next month with a Playlist containing, let’s say, the new Cherry Coke ad. Easy peasy:
