Have you ever wanted to quickly jump to a catalogue item from anywhere in BeBanjo? Well, the new revamped quick search allows you to do that, and more!
When using the new quick search function, you will see a dropdown of your recently searched terms as soon as you click on the search bar. Once you start typing, a dropdown will appear showing a list of entities that match your query. You don’t need to type a whole word to get results, and you can use search terms beyond the title name. For example, you can search by External ID, or write an asset name in the search bar and go straight to the title that contains the asset in question.
You will notice the items in the dropdown show a thumbnail of their cover image, along with their title, External ID, and the entity type. They also turn blue when you are hovering over them. Once you have found what you were looking for, click on that item in the dropdown. Without further ado, BeBanjo will take you to its page in the Catalogue 🎉.
Now, whilst using the quick search function you might realise that you actually need advanced filtering functionality to find what you are after. Simply hit enter or click on “See more results” and BeBanjo will take you to the advanced search page. Your initial search terms will be applied, and you can now use advanced filtering functionality to explore the Catalogue 🔎 .
