Schedule now allows a user to save new changes in custom views
July 7th, 2023 (Revision 1), print this pageCustomisation is one of the key features of our Schedule module, offering great versatility to our clients when customising and saving different views to help them in their day-to-day work.
In this new release of Schedule enhancements we have included the ability to save changes to an existing custom view. This way any change a user makes can be reflected in that same custom view, without creating a new view.
In addition to updating the custom view with the changes in filters, columns, grouping and sorting, it is now also possible to save the width of the columns to make it easier to read long texts every time the custom view is accessed.
Upon making a change to a custom view you will have 3 options:
- Save changes will retain the filter, sort and/or column updates you just made to the view.
- Save as a new view if, instead of altering the existing custom view, you prefer to consider this as a new, separate view.
- Reset the changes, or do nothing, in order to keep the view as it was before your changes.
For the Default
and Classic
views, the yellow skittle will appear when it is possible to reset the changes made, thus returning to the initial state.
With this new functionality Mediagenix On-Demand improves the UX offered to its users by giving them more flexibility to tailor their experience to their workflow needs.
